DALTON— Mohawk Industries believes that, in addition to providing its
dealers with quality products, it should also offer tools to help dealers
build business.
One
of the most powerful of these is Mohawk’s Consumer Finance Program, which
has been proven to increase average sales, promote the purchase of

store name, which promotes repeat business and the application process is
quick and easy. Dealers can link the simple application for the credit card
to their store websites, or consumers can apply direct at
www.mohawk-flooring.com. Financing is
non-recourse, which helps reduced the store’s risk and exposure, and sales
are funded within 48 hours, which improves the store’s cash flow.
In
addition, enrolled dealers can get substantial discounts for financing
select Mohawk products during promotion periods throughout the year. Free
POP materials call attention to the Mohawk Consumer Credit Card option, and
data from sales is collected and stored so that additional offers can be
made to consumers with the Mohawk Credit Card in the future.
“This program is one that every dealer should take advantage of,” Ownbey
said. “The benefits for both the dealer and the consumer are powerful. If,
for example, the Mohawk Consumer Finance Program adds $1,500 per sale to just 20
transactions a month, that’s an increase of $360,000 in sales for the
year—or a thousand dollars a day.”
