MOHAWK TAPS INDUSTRY VETERAN JEFF MEADOWS TO LEAD SALES FOR THE COMPANY’S HOME CENTERS CHANNEL AND ALIGNED GROUPS

(January 16, 2012)— Mohawk is pleased to announce Jeff Meadows, a 30
year veteran of the flooring industry, has joined the company as Senior
Vice President of Sales for the Home Centers and Aligned Groups (such as
CCA Global, Abbey, Carpets Plus, Empire and Floors2Ceilings). Meadows
will be responsible for driving positive sales growth for these key
business units through his strategic leadership.

and an indisputable record of success,” said Tom Lape, President of
Residential and Commercial at Mohawk. “I am absolutely delighted that
Mohawk can tap into his many talents and industry relationships, which
will ensure we continue to foster profitable growth for our Home Centers
and Aligned Groups.”
Meadows has held several key management positions in the residential
business segment, most recently serving as Chief Sales and Marketing
Officer for Beaulieu. In addition to Sales and Marketing, he also led
their R&D, Customer Service, Distribution Services and Transportation.
Prior to his tenure at Beaulieu, Meadows spent 22 years at Shaw
Industries, rising through the ranks and serving in a variety of senior
sales roles in their Residential and Rugs & Textiles businesses.

Meadows earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business
Management at the College of Charleston.
