MOHAWK DEBUTS ALL-NEW REWARDS PROGRAM FOR RETAIL STORE OWNERS, PLUS MOHAWK INFINITE REWARDS PROGRAM BECOMES A RICHER PLATFORM FOR RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATES

 

DALTON, Ga. Dec. 1, 2011— Mohawk proves once again that it is the most retailer-focused manufacturer in the flooring industry. The company is launching Global Ignition, an all-new online rewards platform created exclusively for retail store owners offering the Mohawk and/or Karastan brands. Tracking and earning store-related incentives has never been easier.

 

“In the past, tracking rewards for roll and show promotions— including earnbacks—could be a time-consuming process for a store owner, and it often involved multiple phone calls,” explained Janie Franklin, manager of promotions for both Mohawk and Karastan. “Global Ignition eliminates all of that hassle by creating an easy-to-access web location where retailers can track all of their rewards and promotions at the same time. We’re also excited that this single platform incorporates both Mohawk and Karastan retailers.”

 

The Global Ignition website, www.MohawkGlobalIgnition.com, will also feature a complete calendar of promotions, as well as Mohawk and Karastan related news and events. This will ensure retail owners have a clear picture of all available benefits at their fingertips.

Franklin stresses that Global Ignition does not replace the Mohawk Infinite Rewards program, which is designed for retail sales associates and is widely regarded as the industry’s most powerful rewards program. Retail sales associates will notice several high-profile enhancements to the Mohawk Infinite Rewards program in 2012. The new features include:

·         An all-new online chat function that provides immediate support and allows retail sales associates to have their questions answered in real time.

·         Expanded rewards choices, which include a daily merchandising feature, travel and event ticketing, as well as digital downloads.

·         Last, but certainly not least, Mohawk Infinite Rewards now has its own mobile app. This allows retail sales associates to easily access Mohawk Infinite Rewards from a smartphone.
