DALTON, Ga. Dec. 1, 2011—Mohawk’s
newest hardwood offering is the perfect combination of character,
sophistication and value. The
Brookedale collection features subtle handscraping that is accented
by rich stains and pillowed edges, all of which add distinction and
beauty to each piece. Brookedale’s craftsmanship is exceptional,
positioning it as one of the most trend-driven hardwood offerings in the
market.
“Flooring is a big investment and consumers shouldn’t have to settle on
a product solely due to price pressure,” said Roger Farabee, senior vice
president of marketing, hard surfaces at Mohawk. “Our Brookedale
collection is a great example of what Mohawk does best—and that’s
creating beautiful, quality hardwood flooring that’s also affordable.”
Mohawk is proud to offer the
Brookedale collection in traditional tongue and groove installation, as
well as easy-to-install Clic & Press™ format, featuring Mohawk’s Uniclic®
technology. The choice of installation type allows consumers to
customize the installation process to fit their lifestyle. With Clic &
Press, the flooring can be glued or floated. Floating a hardwood floor
enables consumers to install their own floor if desired. Customers can
walk on their floor immediately, which is an added benefit for
homeowners juggling a busy schedule. Additionally, Mohawk’s Clic & Press
technology offers faster installation and no gaps between planks.
Mohawk’s Brookedale is available in maple, hickory and walnut species.
The full Brookedale product collection includes seven variations:
Chocolate Hickory, Autumn Hickory, Country Natural Hickory, Light Amber
Maple, Cognac Maple, Country Natural Maple, and Natural Walnut. Mohawk’s
Brookedale line is made in the USA.
